This sensational long chandelier, measuring 320 centimetres in length, was custom-made for a client in London.
It is inspired by a chandelier in our Mid-century Murano collection based on the iconic mid-century Goccia chandelier. This new design has 320 long elements of blown Murano glass containing little bubbles. Each of these pieces is very substantial, screwing into the frame at one end to allow easy cleaning and bulb-changing, and widening into a perfectly smooth and round shape at the other. The frame was tailor-made to suit the space available, and 24 carat gold was added to the molten glass for a very high-end and luxurious finish. Metal chains were added to provide a final flourish.
